When playing the browser version and finishing the game if you try to go back it sends you to the last checkpoint instead of resetting at least for me.
Love it! It kind of feels like Shovel Knight, it actually plays and looks like a real retro game, not just a modern one with a "pixelated" filter slapped on. The designs are great, the setting is funny and colorful, and overall it looks amazing. Only small gripe: the movement sometimes feels a bit slow. Maybe that’s just because it reminds me of Wario Land, which is much faster. But yeah, sometimes it feels like the floor is fighting Sunnie a bit. but this is an incredible work for a solo Dev!
I answered the form, it's a good proof of concept! Just wanted to point out that I died against Pippi when she sent me into the brambles with the "wind", the screen turned black... and never faded back in. I could hear her throwing attacks then, but I'm not even sure she was hitting me?
Also a minor thing but pausing during the boss fights doesn't stop the boss music, so you hear both tracks at the same time.
Anyway, hope to see more of this in the future, keep it up! :)
When I downloaded the game to my Windows PC and tried running it I got this error message: "The following features required to run Godot projects on the Web are missing: Cross Origin Isolation - Check web server configuration (send correct headers)"

EDIT: Its a known bug, the demo will be updated Saturday with a few bug fixes! This one I just figured out what to do about it!
Some of the balloon-to-balloon jumps were a bit pixel-perfect tricky for my liking, but I mostly really enjoyed this!

Thank you for the feedback!
I'll do my best to address these issues this weekend when I have time.
I'm sorry that happened and I'm glad you were able to enjoy the experience despite my limited experience game deving.

That's odd, hadn't run into this issue before, I'll look into it. Thanks for bringing it to my attention!
