Summer Game
Welcome to "Summer Game" a game I made in two days for a low-stakes art contest among friends in one of their Discord servers. I have a bigger game that I've been working on since I started Game dev'ing in January (2024), but it's a traditional 2D Platformer about a clown girl, this was my first attempt at a Top-Down game! It's a small experience, but it's my first start-to-finish project in Godot and I couldn't be more proud. I'm excited for a few people to take the time to play something I made!
This is for Desktop only.
Game Story
Luna is a blue-haired woman who decides to go to the beach, there she explores a small map of colorful characters.
Controls
Keyboard
Movement: WASD + Arrows
Interact: "E" or Spacebar
Controller
Movement: Directional Pad or Left Stick
Interact: Switch's B, Xbox's B, PS' O button.
UPDATE:
A game-crashing glitch was found and I took care of it, if you pressed ESC the game would crash. Thanks to Leroysei for reporting it.

Fair warning, I don't know to set it to not set off your anti-virus software yet. When I figure it out I'll update this download.

This was really fun! Lovely sprite work and cute little interactions. I hope you continue something like this in the future, it'd be fun to explore more of it.
